Bringing the Best in Hospice Care to the Denver Area

Divine Hospice & Palliative Care serves patients with serious illnesses in the Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Gilpin, Jefferson, and Southwest Weld counties of Colorado. We created our hospice care and palliative services to help ensure that every patient is treated with the comfort, compassion and dignity that they deserve. However, our care doesn’t stop with our patients. We also ensure that each patient’s family receives the support needed to help them during this difficult time.

When medically treating a patient is no longer able to cure a disease, our compassionate interdisciplinary team of skilled hospice and palliative care professionals can help to reduce anxiety, control pain and offer needed emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families. We can provide your loved one with a gradual transition from curative care to hospice care. There is a time for discussion, a time to try therapies and treatments, and a time to ensure your loved one’s comfort and dignity.

Many patients often feel that they are burdening their loved ones as they grow closer to the end of their lives. This is an understandable feeling. Taking on the end-of-life care of a loved one, combined with the demands of employment, day-to-day living and coping with the grief of impending loss can be a difficult weight to bear. Hospice care services can help to alleviate a great deal of this for the family, allowing them to be more present for their loved one in those precious final moments.

Our services at Divine Hospice & Palliative Care in Denver are focused on serving and comforting patients at the end of their lives, while also providing much needed resources for the family. We offer a range of palliative and hospice care services, bereavement support and grief resources.

We provide hospice and palliative care services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in Denver, Arapahoe, Douglas, Jefferson, Adams, Boulder, Broomfield, Gilpin, Clear Creek, and Southwest Weld counties in Colorado.

How to Access Care

Many individuals and families could benefit from hospice care but are unaware of how to access hospice services. Some are afraid to discuss it, some wait for a physician to suggest it, and some don’t know that they can initiate hospice care on their own, as long as eligibility standards are met.

It’s important to remember that hospice does not extend or shorten life expectancy, but instead seeks to improve the quality of time that is left.

If you can, it’s important to let healthcare providers know early on in a life-limiting illness if you or your loved one would want hospice care when and if it makes sense. Divine Hospice & Palliative Care welcomes the opportunity to discuss your family's needs, and how we can provide you the best service possible for you or your loved ones.
